The dragons in our legends and fairy tales were usually depicted as monsters hostile to humans. In China, the dragon is a "friend" of man - it symbolizes prosperity and brings good luck.

We present the Silver Dragon silver coin in a limited collector's edition, featuring color enhancement. The mintage of this edition is limited to only 4,000 copies. The image of the dragon on the coin's reverse has received additional red and yellow coloring. The coin's obverse has remained unchanged from the original - it features an image of Queen Elizabeth II along with the denomination, coin weight and silver proof.
