Legendary Warriors is an interesting series of silver investment medals. 

William Wallace was a Scottish knight and one of the main leaders of the fight for Scottish independence at the end of the 13th century. He became famous as a commander during the uprising against English rule, especially after his victory over the army of King Edward I. His greatest triumph came in 1297 at the Battle of Stirling Bridge, where his troops defeated the larger English army. After this success, he was proclaimed Guardian of Scotland. In 1305, he was captured by the English and executed in London. His character became a symbol of the struggle for freedom, and the film Braveheart brought him worldwide popularity.
