What does order storage at Silver Mint consist of?
Order storage is a service we provide to our customers in order to minimize their shipping costs. When making a purchase in our store, you can choose from several ways of order storage. One of them is just "Storage" - if you choose this option, you will not pay for shipping, and we will hold your order and safely store your products in our vault.
You can place one, several or even dozens of orders this way - how long your order will be held up is entirely up to you. You can ask us to ship all your available orders at any time.
How much does it cost and are there any restrictions for customers?
Our company does not charge any additional fees for storing customers' orders. The service is completely free for our registered Customers and not limited in any way. We do not impose any limits on the number of orders or their value, which means that you can accumulate orders for joint shipment for as long as you wish. You can decide to have your orders shipped or prepared for personal pickup at any time that suits you best.
How to properly use Order Storage at Silver Mint?
It is very simple. When making a purchase, remember to select the appropriate method of order fulfillment in the shopping cart. To do so, you need to select the "Storage" option in the Delivery Method tab. Once you pay for your order, it will go to our Storage Room, which we will inform you about via email. You can log into your customer panel at any time and check what stage your stored order is at. You can see two separate statuses:
- Storage - order available for shipment - this status means that all products from your order are already available in our warehouse.
- If you wish, you can already have this order shipped, or you can wait and accumulate more orders to ship together in the future.
- Storage - awaiting delivery of products - this is the first status you will see with your stored order.
- If you have purchased products that are available immediately from our warehouse, the status will automatically change to "Storage - order available for shipment" after about 24 hours. If the status does not change during this time, it means that your order included products with a longer lead time. Once the entire order is completed, its status will automatically change, and we will notify you by email that the order is available for shipment
How to order shipment of available orders?
As we wrote earlier, you can choose the moment of ordering the shipment of available orders yourself. Monitor the statuses in the Customer panel and when you think you have gathered a sufficient pool of orders for joint shipment, order it. To do this, log in to your account and go to the "Order history and details" tab. You will see a list of your orders, and above it the "Send available orders" button.
When you click it, the store will take you to the shopping cart, where you will decide on the shipping method, indicate the appropriate delivery address or choose the most convenient parcel machine or pickup point for you. The system will generate an order including only shipping costs. After they are paid, the order to prepare shipping will go to our warehouse.
Remember the following rules for shipments from the Storehouse:
- only orders in the status "Storage - order available for shipment" will be included in the shipment ordered by you.
- The rest of the orders will continue to await fulfillment in our Storage Room.
- we do not have the ability to pull individual available products from the orders - we only realize shipments of complete orders, marked with the appropriate status
How much does it cost to ship orders from the Storage Room?
Our store has flat shipping rates. The shipping price is always the same, regardless of whether we ship a one-time purchase to you or you have multiple orders shipped from the Storage Room. That's why our Order Storage service is a great way to save on shipping costs.
