The Fancy is a silver investment coin with a mintage of just 15,000.

The fifth edition of this series, popular among collectors, dedicated to the most famous pirates, presents us with the ship "Fancy," commanded by Henry Every. He is known as the "King of Pirates" because he was responsible for one of the most profitable pirate attacks in history. During it, he and his companions looted gold and valuables worth about $600,000. Because of the plunder of such sizable wealth, he and his men became heroes of the first such extensive search operation in history. Despite being the world's most wanted man, he never suffered punishment for his actions. There are various hypotheses about Captain Every's subsequent fate, but none has been confirmed so far.

The obverse depicts the profile of Britain's Queen Elizabeth II, along with information on the denomination, weight and silver proof of the investment currency. The reverse of the coin on display depicts the ship "The Fancy" with boxes full of valuables on board, meant to symbolize the riches plundered by its crew. In the background we see an unidentified ship, most likely from which the famous treasure was looted. In the background we see a corpse skull, a world-famous symbol of the brutality and ruthlessness of pirate crews.
