Silver bullion coin issued in a small mintage of 30,000 pieces.

The silver coin, like many coins from Australia, refers to its rich and unique fauna. The series is dedicated to the quokka, an animal closely related to kangaroos. The quokka is endemic to Western Australia, particularly found in the state of Western Australia. It is a predominantly arboreal animal characterized by its soft gray fur, large eyes and adorable facial expression, making it known as "the happiest animal in the world."

The reverse of the silver coin shows us a quokka sitting in the grass, with small branches covered with leaves growing around it. At the very top is the name of a series of currencies dedicated to this friendly animal. On the right side of the reverse we see a small letter P symbol of the mint issuing the series every year. On the obverse we have the image of Queen Elizabeth II along with the denomination of 1 Australian dollar and the year of issue.
