2016 Australian Koala Silver Coin, 1 oz.

Along with the Kangaroo, the Australian Koala is one of the most recognizable bullion coins minted by the Perth-based mint.

This internationally recognized coin made its debut on the precious metals market in 2007. This collection, like many others issued by Perth Mint, is inspired by Australia's unique fauna, specifically the friendly koalas. A distinctive feature of the series is the image on the reverse, which changes each year.

The reverse of the presented 2016 silver investment coin shows us the silhouette of a friendly koala bear joyfully walking on a tree branch. Above it is minted the name of the series - Australian Koala, and below it the year of the coin's mintage, its weight and silver sample. The obverse of the coin, is the image of Queen Elizabeth II, standard for the Perth mint. As the official legal tender of Australia, the coin has a denomination of AUD 1.
