Nautical Ounce is a popular series of silver investment coins showing famous ships.
We are pleased to present the latest release in the series - the 2022 vintage coin.
It was dedicated to the ship christened in honor of the US Constitution: USS Constitution. The ship was built in the late 18th century and is still in active service with the US naval forces. She is the oldest ship still afloat today. The USS Constitution has participated in many naval operations, including those conducted in the Mediterranean. The ship also took part in a naval battle with the British fleet, which made it famous for being incredibly resistant to enemy fire.
The reverse of the coin depicts the three-masted frigate USS Constitution, seen from the starboard side. The ship, under full sail, is cruising the seas. The coin did not lack nautical symbols typical of the series, such as the wind rose showing the directions of the world. The obverse features the coat of arms of Rwanda, a country for which the coin is legal tender. The coins are delivered in their original factory foil packaging.
