Nordic Creatures is a series of copper medals depicting unusual beasts fromNordic stories.

The image of the third installment of the collection features one of the most unusual and unique creatures in Norse mythology - Sleipnir. This magical creature belonging to the Chief of the Gods, Odin in the form of an eight-horse is a symbol of power, speed and extraordinary agility. According to legend, his mother was a female giant and his father was Odin himself. Thanks to Odin's powers, he transformed from a foal into a powerful eight-horse. The most famous stories about Sleipnir speak of his ability to travel between worlds, which Odin often used to seek knowledge and adventure in different parts of the universe.

The reverse of the copper disc shows Sleipnir galloping among the clouds while traveling between worlds. The creature is accompanied by his creator Odin, armed with a spear and a shield wearing a distinctive helmet. The obverse of the medal is decorated with a huge Yggdrasil tree called the roots of the world. Next to the tree we notice a snake watching a deer standing nearby.
