An Excellent Choice for Copper Collectors and Investors

The 1-ounce AVDP Wheat Cent copper medal is a unique collector’s item and investment, serving as a beautiful tribute to one of the most iconic coins in the history of American numismatics. The product is crafted from .999-fine copper, ensuring a high standard of craftsmanship and the metal’s warm, aesthetic luster. Struck by the renowned Golden State Mint, it offers a perfect blend of historical value and an investment in precious metals.

The obverse of the medal features a precisely rendered profile of President Abraham Lincoln, based on the famous 1909 design by Victor David Brenner. Surrounding the image is the traditional motto “IN GOD WE TRUST”; on the left is the inscription “LIBERTY,” and on the right is the date “1909” along with the mint mark “S”.

The reverse of the medal features the distinctive motif of two ears of wheat surrounding the central inscriptions. It includes information on the weight and fineness of the metal—“ONE OUNCE .999 FINE COPPER”—as well as the mint name “GOLDEN STATE MINT” at the top and the designer’s initials “V.D.B.” at the bottom.

This copper medal is an excellent choice both for experienced numismatists seeking interesting references to classic coins and for those just beginning their journey into investing in physical copper. The attention to detail and high-quality strike make it an excellent addition to any collection of precious metals and investment metals.
