An Excellent Choice for Copper Collectors and Investors

The 1-ounce AVDP Indian Head copper medal offers a unique blend of history, minting craftsmanship, and investment value. Struck by the renowned Golden State Mint from .999-fine copper, it draws direct inspiration from the iconic $5 Indian Head coin designed by Bel Lyon Pratt in 1908. A distinctive feature of this medal is the intaglio technique, in which the design details are engraved into the surface of the flat disc, creating a unique visual effect and ensuring exceptional durability of the details.

The obverse depicts a profile bust of a Native American wearing a headdress, surrounded by thirteen stars symbolizing the original colonies and the inscription “LIBERTY” at the top. The entire piece is finished with extraordinary attention to detail, showcasing the warm, coppery luster of precious and semi-precious metals.

The reverse is adorned with an image of a proud bald eagle standing on a bundle of arrows and an olive branch. On either side are the traditional American mottos “E PLURIBUS UNUM” and “IN GOD WE TRUST”. Around the edge are the name of the Golden State Mint and a clear specification of the metal’s fineness and weight: FINE .999 COPPER.

This copper medal is an excellent choice for those seeking affordable collectibles, as well as for investors looking to diversify their portfolio of physical metals. Its unique design, high copper fineness, and respect for numismatic tradition make this product an excellent choice as an elegant gift.
