The copper medal is an interesting option for precious metals investors and enthusiasts alike.
The Morgan dollar is one of the most famous American silver circulation coins. Originally da coin was issued from 1878 to 1904 and in 1921, and is named after its designer, British George T. Morgan. Issuance of the Morgan Dollar continues until 1904, when demand for silver declined as a result of the so-called Sherman Act. Production resumed in 1921, under the Pittman Act, which mandated that all silver coins be melted down for the benefit of Great Britain. Then replacing the missing coins with new ones, in this case the Peace Dollar.
The obverse of the medal depicts Liberty's head in a Phrygian cap with a cotton leaf and a wreath of wheat. The motto E Pluribus Unum is placed at the top . The reverse depicts a coat of arms shield with wings, with the American flag in the background, and at the very bottom under the ribbon is the medal's weight designation.
