This year's version of the coin from Perth Mint featuring characters from the popular American series.
The Simpsons is undoubtedly one of the most famous and recognized animated comedy series. The series has been airing continuously since 1989, and currently has 33 seasons and over 700 episodes. Already 33 years old, the story of the Simson family continues to attract crowds of fans in front of TV sets. Today, the Simpsons are one of the most recognizable TV families, which has permanently penetrated pop culture.
The reverse of the bullion coin features the smiling face of Homer J. Simpson, husband of Marge and father of Bart, Lisa and Maggie. Above the figure is the inscription HOMER SIMPSON, in the lower one the signature of the series' author and the mint logo. The coin's obverse depicts the classic. left portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, along with information on, bullion proof, date of issue, coin weight, country and denomination. Immediately below the image of the queen are engraved in small letters by Ian Ranek-Broadley, the author of the featured artwork.
