The series from Royal Australian Mint is one of the most popular lunar editions.

We present the latest installment of the highly anticipated series from the Royal Australian Mint. In the Chinese calendar, the year of the dragon occurs periodically every twelve years. It is one of the twelve animal symbols of the Chinese zodiac that are assigned to consecutive years. The dragon is one of the most prominent symbols in Chinese culture, considered a creature with powerful yet gentle qualities. People born in the year of the dragon are often seen as bold, energetic and confident.

On the reverse of the silver investment coin, we see the silhouette of a flying dragon. Jago's wrapped body surrounds the Chinese symbol signifying the creature. Right next to it, we also see the English name of the year of the dragon, as well as the weight and silver proof of the currency. The distinctive obverse of the coin includes all 12 animals of the Chinese calendar, which are placed in the rim. In the middle was the image of the late Queen Elizabeth and the year of issue of the currency - 2024.
