Silverback Olympus Silver Banknote: Hera, 1/1000 ounce

In Greek mythology, Hera was the queen of the gods, the wife of Zeus, and one of the most important figures on Mount Olympus. She was considered the goddess of marriage, family, women, and motherhood, and her cult played a significant role in the religious life of the ancient Greeks. Although she symbolized fidelity and the enduring nature of marriage, her own marriage to Zeus was fraught with conflict, mainly due to the ruler of the gods’ numerous affairs. Hera was renowned for her pride, majesty, and unyielding nature, and in myths she often appeared as a stern goddess who never forgot the wrongs done to her. She was usually depicted as a dignified woman wearing a crown or diadem, and her most important attributes included a peacock, a scepter, and a pomegranate. Her figure symbolized both the power of divine authority and the importance of marriage and family order in the world of the ancient Greeks

In the center of the banknote, we see Hera in ancient attire, with long hair and outstretched arms, depicted against the backdrop of a bright disc resembling the moon. Below is a mighty lion with a flowing mane, depicted in a dynamic pose with its mouth open, emphasizing its strength and dominance. The composition is complemented by butterflies, decorative motifs, and numerous details in shades of silver and black, accented by blue highlights visible on the figure’s robe, the butterflies’ wings, and elements of the background. The intricately decorated frame with the repeating inscription “Silverback” gives the entire design the distinctive look of a collector’s banknote. The design also features the year 2026, the Goldback.com logo, and information indicating a content of 1/1000 ounce of pure silver.
