Banknotes made of gold are an increasingly popular choice for investors and collectors alike.

Goldback is an alternative form of payment that was created to allow transactions without the need for traditional currencies issued by countries. Each Goldback bill contains a bit of real gold leaf, adding value to the holder. Goldback was developed in the United States and was originally introduced in the state of Utah in 2019. It is now available in several U.S. states and is used by people who want to hedge their savings against inflation and devaluation of traditional currencies.

The 10 Goldback bill depicts Justitia, or Justice, is one of the virtues. Its statue is also located in the Balancing Rock region of southern Utah. As Justice is blind she is traditionally depicted with a blindfold over her eyes. In her left hand she wields a double-edged sword, while in her right she holds a scale. This symbolizes impartiality, fairness firmness, which must be her domain in order to be justly effective. Below her is placed in the footer the inscription "Judge Righteously," meaning "Judge Rightly."
