TheF-22 Raptor is a high-tech fighter made with stealth technology.

The aircraft was designed by the Lockheed Martin corporation to be ready to fight hostile aviation should the USSR violate its airspace. Its design also allows it to attack ground targets, the aircraft is equipped for electronic warfare and electronic listening. In 2010 it was decided that production would end at 187 units, with the last machine delivered in May 2012.

The reverse of the copper cylinder shows two F-22 Raptor air superiority fighters gliding through the skies. In the upper part of the reverse one can read the inscription AIR FORCE, under the planes the name of the F-22 RAPTOR unit is placed. On the obverse of the copper medal is presented an American eagle with a shield, which in its claws holds olive branches and arrows. Next to the bird reads information on the bullion sample and weight.
