The Queen's Virtues Silver Coin: Victory 2021, 1 oz
Victory, or Vict ory, is the opening coin of the latest series produced by the East India Company.
The Queen's Virtues is one of the more interesting bullion coin series.
Its theme is the so-called "Queen's Virtues," the broad values that are the foundation of the monarchy of the United Kingdom of Great Britain. The first silver investment coin in the series is the Victory. The motifs that will appear on subsequent releases will be truth, justice, sustainability, generosity and courage. The collection is inspired by London's famous Victoria Memorial sculpture located in front of Buckingham Palace.
The reverse of the presented bullion coin is decorated with an image of a woman who is the personification of victory, which is a reproduction of the aforementioned sculpture. The woman with angelic wings holds a palm branch in one hand and raises the other in a victorious gesture. The obverse of the silver investment coin is decorated with the image of the crowned Queen Elizabeth, facing right. The currency is the official legal tender of the island of St. Helena, which is an overseas territory of the United Kingdom. It carries a denomination of 1 British pound.
