Chiwoo Cheonwang is the first series of investment medals to be issued by the official mint of South Korea.

The title character is a well-known figure in Korean and Chinese culture. Chiwoo Cheonwang is usually identified with the Guardian of Peace and the God of War. His image is contemporarily associated with the Korean soccer team - it can be found in the official logo of one of the fan groups. The reverse of the latest edition of the Chiwoo Cheonwang series depicts its title character striking a war drum. At its sound, the powerful ZI:SIN guards we see in the background stand at the ready. The back of the investment medal features the famous Gwi-myeon-wa shield - one of the most common symbols in Korean architecture, culture and art.
