China Panda 2022 Silver Coin, 30 grams

The Chinese Panda is an interesting investment product and an alternative to popular bullion coins.

The history of the coin dates back to 1982, when the first silver China Panda appeared on the market - inspired by the showpiece of China, which this animal undoubtedly is. Interestingly, the coin is minted at 3 different mints - Shanghai, Shenzen and Beijing. The reverse of the coin is changed every year, making it a popular product among collectors as well.

The coin with the image of the panda will celebrate its round 40th birthday in 2022. To mark the occasion, the reverse features an additional logo depicting the number 40 with an embedded image of a panda. The coin itself depicts two adorable young pandas playing in fresh snow. Above is engraved the weight of the coin and to the right the denomination - 10 Chinese yuan. The obverse of the coin remains unchanged from the first year of issue and shows a famous Chinese building - the Temple of Heaven, located in the capital of the Middle Kingdom. Below it is the minting year of the coin and above it is the inscription People's Republic of China in Chinese.
