The history of silver Chinese pandas is more than 40 years old. We present another silver value from this Asian country. From the very beginning, the coin was inspired by China's showpiece - the giant panda, also known as the bamboo bear. The coin owes its popularity not only to its somewhat unusual weight of 30 grams, but also to its reverse, which changes from year to year, making it eagerly purchased by collectors as well.

The reverse of the silver coin depicts a Chinese panda lying on the ground, with it we see a fragment of a bamboo forest. The animal is feeding on a bamboo branch held in its paw. On the left is the weight of the coin, the bullion symbol, and its sample. The obverse shows the Chinese Temple of Heaven located in Beijing. This side of the coin has remained unchanged for more than 40 years. At the very bottom is the date of issue of the coin, and at the top is the Chinese inscription People's Republic of China.
