The reverse of the silver coin depicts a lion macaque sitting on a tree branch. The animal emits a distinctive screech while opening its mouth wide. The monkey is placed on a mirror-grid background, traditional for the series. Around the rim are inscriptions indicating the weight of the coin and its silver content. The obverse in this edition stood altered and shows the current ruler of the Kingdom of Great Britain, King Charles III, along with the year of issue and the denomination.
