We present a gold coin inspired by the Aztec calendar. The Aztec calendar was not only a system of measuring time, but also represented in the form of a stone disk - the so-called Sun Stone. This monumental stone calendar was carved in the late 15th century and weighs about 24 tons. On its surface are symbols of days, gods and the four previous eras of the world, which according to the Aztecs ended in catastrophes. In the center is the face of the sun god Tonatiuh, holding symbols of sacrifice in his hands, indicating the religious significance of the calendar. The Sun Stone was not a typical tool for daily timekeeping, but rather a symbolic representation of Aztec cosmology. Today it can be admired at the National Anthropological Museum in Mexico.

The reverse of the gold coin features an intricate rendering of the surface of the Aztec Sun Stone - one of the most famous monuments of pre-Columbian America. Its detailed engraved surface shows complex calendar symbols, the figure of the sun god Tonatiuh in the center, and surrounding rings with hieroglyphic day markers. Every detail has been reproduced with extreme precision, capturing the artistic and spiritual richness of this ancient culture. On the obverse of the coin, in the center, is the official emblem of the State of No - a symbol of sovereignty and national identity. Below it are the year of issue of the coin, its weight and denomination, which is 50 New Zealand cents.
