The history of the world remembers many powerful warriors whose deeds were celebrated in songs for centuries. The latest series of investment values entitled "Legendary Warriors" is dedicated to such figures. This group certainly includes many Vikings, but it is Eric Haraldsson, King of Norway and Lord of the Kingdom of Nortumbria, who most deserves this title and the honorable first place in the series. His deeds are best evidenced by the nickname given to him - Bloodaxe, or "Blood Axe."

The reverse of the presented numismat depicts the figure of Eric. The Norwegian king is armed with an axe and a shield, and his head is protected by a horned helmet. In the background one can see a mountainous landscape and sea waves between the rocks of the bay. At the top edge of the reverse is the inscription - Eric Bloodaxe. Extremely interesting is the obverse of the coin, which features all kinds of weapons that the Legendary Warriors may have used - bows, axes, arrows, swords and sabers. The rim bears the name of the series, as well as an indication of the weight and bullion test.
