Germania is the primary bullion coin from Germania Mint, and this year's edition is only the second release of the currency.

The series is dedicated to the region known as Germania - that's how they described the lands east of the Rhine and north of the Danube. The collection refers to the time when the lands were ruled by various clans that gave rise to today's European nations. Germania is depicted under the figure of a woman to symbolize strength, courage and dedication to the cause. This silver bullion coin was produced in a limited edition of 25,000 copies.

The obverse of the coin depicts a female personification of Germania, in a dignified pose. On the woman's forearm sits a two-headed eagle - a symbol from Germanic mythology associated with Janus - the god of gates, bridges, passages and doors. The coin's reverse refers to Roman mythology and depicts the image of a two-headed eagle holding lightning bolts in its talons. Each head faces a different direction, symbolizing history and the future. The lightning bolts, in turn, are a symbol of strength and the ability to create and destroy.

The coins are packaged in high-quality protective caps. Each coin purchased comes with a certificate of authenticity from the manufacturer.
