The Australian Koala is a silver coin with an annually changing reverse image.

This internationally recognized coin takes its inspiration from one of Australia's national symbols - the koala. The koala is an adorable and distinctive species of marsupial. It has a small body, reaching a length of about 60-85 centimeters and weighing between 4 and 15 kilograms. Characteristic features of koalas are a round head, large and fluffy ears and black noses. Their fur is soft and dense, usually gray or brown in color, often with white spots on the belly.

The reverse of the featured 2019 silver investment coin shows a koala bear sitting on the trunk of a eucalyptus tree. Above it can be seen fragments of its branches and leaves. Above it is minted the name of the series - Australian Koala - and below it the year of the coin's minting, its weight and silver sample. The obverse of the coin, is the image of Queen Elizabeth II, standard for the Perth mint. As the official legal tender of Australia, the coin has a denomination of 1 Australian dollar.
