A special edition of the Chinese Panda, limited to just 500 pieces.

We present the final, fourth installment of the unique series of four China Panda coins, whose color schemes reflect the changing seasons. For over forty years, the China Panda series has held a special place in the world of numismatics, combining investment value with a highly distinctive artistic design. Since their debut, these coins have earned the recognition of collectors and investors worldwide, becoming one of the most recognizable products of the Chinese Mint. Each new issue offers a fresh perspective on this well-known motif, while maintaining the series’ signature style and high-quality craftsmanship. The central motif of the Chinese Panda has, of course, always been the giant panda, also known as the bamboo bear. Symbolizing peace, harmony, and the exceptional richness of Chinese nature, it has become an integral part of the entire series. One of the greatest strengths of the Panda coins is the reverse design, which changes every year. As a result, subsequent issues are not merely repetitions of earlier designs but present new scenes and interpretations of this extremely popular animal, which further enhances their appeal to collectors.

This unique edition has been enhanced with the Metallic Colors effect, which gives the coin’s surface a subtle sheen and distinctive depth of color. This technique lends the depicted scene a fresh, cheerful character, and the colorful elements stand out strikingly against the winter backdrop. The reverse depicts two pandas resting in a snow-covered clearing. The animals are shown wearing colorful scarves, which add a pleasant, almost fairy-tale-like touch to the composition and harmonize perfectly with the finish. The obverse retains the series’ classic motif of the Temple of Heaven in Beijing—one of the most iconic monuments of Chinese architecture. The year of issue is located at the bottom of the coin.

NOTE: The coin was refined by a professional third-party company not affiliated with the issuing country, and therefore no longer holds official legal tender status.
