United Crypto States Silver Coin: Double Eagle 2026. 1 ounce

A silver collector's item inspired by a historic American coin.

The American Double Eagle is one of the most recognizable gold coins in U.S. history. It was introduced into circulation in 1849, during the California Gold Rush, and had a face value of $20. These coins were struck from 90% gold and 10% copper, and their pure gold content was approximately 0.9675 troy ounces. The most famous variant is the Saint-Gaudens Double Eagle, designed by the renowned American sculptor Augustus Saint-Gaudens and issued from 1907 to 1933. Its reverse depicts a majestic eagle in flight, while the obverse features a personification of Liberty holding a torch and an olive branch. To this day, the Double Eagle remains one of the most important symbols of American mint gold coinage and a prized collector’s item.

The reverse features an image of an eagle with an additional gold overlay, and the background is finished with ruthenium.  The obverse retains the series’ characteristic design—the central element is a shield with a hologram, flanked on both sides by a dragon and a unicorn, symbols known from the heraldry of the United Kingdom. The coin’s denomination is located at the top of the design, while the year of issue and the name of the issuing authority are placed at the bottom.
