Presenting the latest addition to the Lunar series coming from Rwanda. The coin is dedicated to the Year of the Snake. The Chinese Year of the Snake is one of the twelve zodiac signs in the Chinese lunar calendar, recurring every 12 years. People born under this sign are considered wise, full of secrets, intuitive and skillful in solving problems. In traditional culture, the snake also symbolizes elegance, cleverness and adaptability in difficult situations. The Chinese horoscope emphasizes that people under this sign can be successful in their professional lives, but they also often value inner peace and harmony. Snakes tend to be very attentive and reflective, making them make decisions carefully and thoughtfully.

The coin's reverse features an image of a snake, the sixth symbol of the Chinese calendar. The design of the coin does not differ from the rest of the series and the entire graphic is made of geometric shapes arranged in the silhouette of a snake. Around the rim we can read the year of issue, the name of the series, as well as the weight and silver content of the bullion. The obverse in the center presents the coat of arms of Rwanda, while below it we can see the denomination of the currency, 50 Rwandan francs.
