Paul Atreides is a member of the noble Atreides family, whose life and fate become a key element in the struggle for control of the planet Arrakis, where the main plot axis of Dune takes place. Paul is the son of Duke Leto Atreides and Princess Jessica, and is one of the characters who develops and evolves over the course of the series, gaining extraordinary skills and becoming a key figure in the political and religious conflicts of the Dune universe.

The obverse of the silver medal will present us with a portrait of Prince Atreides. He is placed against the background of a piece of desert covering Arrakis. Highlighted are his blue eyes, which are the result of prolonged exposure to a substance found on the planet called Spice Melange. The reverse presents us with a close-up of the blue eye, with the DUNE inscription below, along with a silhouette of the prince standing in the desert. The coin is packaged in a protective TEP blister.
