Already 33 years old, the story of the Simson family continues to attract crowds of fans in front of TV sets. Today, the Simpsons are one of the most recognizable TV families, which has permanently penetrated pop culture.
The reverse of the bullion coin features Homer Simson uttering his iconic 'D'OH', which he uses most often when something goes wrong for him. In the inscription, the letter O is made from a doughnut, one of Homer's staple foods. The coin's obverse depicts the classic. left portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, along with information on, bullion grade, date of issue, coin weight, country and denomination. Immediately below the image of the queen are engraved in small letters by Ian Ranek-Broadley, the author of the featured artwork.
