Silver Coin Tiger Snake 2024, 1 oz
The fifth edition of the popular Australia's Most Dangerous silver bullion coin series .
Tiger Snake is a silver investment coin issued in a limited edition of 25,000 copies.
Produced by the acclaimed Royal Australian Mint, the collection features some of the most dangerous animal specimens inhabiting the Australian continent. Another fifth issue of the series features the tiger snake. The snake, also known as the Tasmanian snake, is relatively small, typically reaching a length of 1 to 1.5 meters. Its coloration usually features dark brown stripes on a light background, hence its name. What makes the tiger snake so dangerous is its venom, which has toxins capable of severely damaging tissues and causing symptoms such as hemorrhage and paralysis.
The reverse of the featured bullion coin features an image of a tiger snake crawling around Australia's natural environment. Above the dangerous snake we can read the engraved inscription "TIGER SNAKE". From the reverse we can read information about the coin's weight and silver sample. The obverse of the coin is decorated with a classic portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, along with the denomination and date of issue.
