Silver Valor is the third edition of the popular series.

One of the most famous heroes of the DC universe is Superman, to whom the valor is dedicated. Superman is a fictional superhero who appeared in comic books published by DC Comics as early as 1938. He was created by screenwriter Jerry Siegel and cartoonist Joe Shuster. Superman is a character with superhuman strength, speed, endurance and the ability to fly. His real name is Clark Kent, and he comes from the fictional planet Krypton.

On the reverse, we see the figure of Superman flying with his right arm extended upward. He is clad in his distinctive suit. The top shows the weight of the coin, as well as the sample of silver from which it was made. City buildings can be seen in the background. The obverse presents a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. the upper part shows the name of the country for which the coin was issued along with the year of issue, while at the bottom we see the Samoa coat of arms.
