The presented coin is the first bullion coin produced by the Gdansk Mint. On its image we will see Rusalka from the collection inspired by the Slavic bestiary "Slavic Beasts". Rusalki in Slavic mythology were described as beautiful, naked women with long, loose hair. They were demonic creatures living mainly in forests, lakes and fields. During the new moon, they would lure young men to them, and if one dared to approach them, the Rusalka's hair would turn green and their faces would twist. Rusalki would kill the one who touched them. According to legends, Rusalki became maidens who died before they were able to marry.

The reverse of the bullion coin depicts a Rusalka in the form of a beautiful woman emerging from the watery depths. Around her float aquatic creatures against a background of distinctive vegetation. Next to Rusalka one will notice a water lily, next to which the inscription "RUSALKA SLAVIC BESTIARY" is engraved. The obverse of the coin is decorated with characteristic patterns consisting of elements of flora and fauna. In the very center of the obverse is the issuer's coat of arms, along with information on the silver sample, the year of minting and the denomination.
