Copper Round Barber Half Dollar, 1 oz.
TheBarber Half Dollar is a copper medal referring to the US circulating coin used between 1892 and 1915.
Made of .999 copper, the 1 ounce (AVDP) puck is an increasingly popular investment alternative.
The Copper Medal is a replica of the Barber Half Dollar, a fifty-cent coin that circulated in the United States from 1892 to 1915. The coin, named after its designer, Charles E. Barber, is one of the most recognizable and sought-after coins by collectors around the world. The Barber Half Dollar was minted at mints in Philadelphia, New Orleans, San Francisco and Denver. Coins from different mints can be identified by the mintmark on the reverse. Depending on the vintage and place of production, some vintages are more rare and valuable to collectors.
The reverse of the copper disc depicts Liberty's head in the neoclassical style, with a hair band bearing the inscription "LIBERTY." Above the head is the motto "IN GOD WE TRUST," and all around are thirteen stars symbolizing the original thirteen colonies. The obverse of the medal depicts symbols associated with the United States, including the national flag and spread eagle wings. From the obverse we will learn the bullion's sample and weight.
