The copper medal is an interesting option for precious metals investors and enthusiasts alike.

The U.S. Peace Dollar, is a silver circulating coin with a denomination of 1 dollar issued from 1921 to 1928, and again from 1934 to 1935. The coin was created to commemorate the victory in World War I. The coin was created, as it were, to replace the Morgan dollars, which were melted down and their stamps destroyed after WWI, making it an ideal opportunity to put a new coin into circulation.

The obverse depicts the personification of freedom, only her head is presented here, with her hair disheveled. The inscription LIBERTY is shown in the background, while the symbolic date of issue of the first Peace Dollaris placed at the bottom. The reverseshows an eagle sitting on a rock and holding an olive branch in its talons. It is looking at the rising sun and toward Europe. The rim states the weight of the medal, as well as the purity test of the copper.
