The copper disc takes a look at the history of the Washington Quarter coin minted since 1932.

The Washington Quarter, also known as a quarter, is an American 25-cent coin introduced in 1932. The coin was introduced to commemorate the bicentennial of George Washington's birth by passing the Coinage Act of 1792. What makes the Washington Quarter unique is that it changed every year from 1932 until 1998, presenting different interpretations of George Washington's character. Since 1999, each state has had its own unique version of the coin, showcasing local symbols, historical figures or landmarks.

The reverse of the copper medal reproduces the obverse seen on the popular quarter dollar - it depicts an eagle with spread wings holding arrows in its talons. Under the claws one notices an olive branch. The obverse of the disc presents a shield design consisting of the eagle's wings behind an American shield. Above the wings and shield is the American flag, surrounded by a ring of rope and a copper scale and purity.
