Silver Lunar III Coin: Year of the Dragon 2024 Charm, 1 oz.

We present the latest installment of the Lunar III series silver coin in a variant with a centrally placed rotating pendant called a charms. The coin is one of many dedicated to the Chinese lunar calendar, and more specifically to the ongoing Year of the Dragon. Like each year in the Chinese calendar, the Year of the Dragon has its own unique characteristics and influence on people. People born during this period are often described as ambitious, confident, courageous and full of energy. They have a tendency toward leadership and can be successful in many areas of life.

When designing the silver value, the manufacturer decided to give the coin an unusual ring shape with a dragon-shaped bead inside. Around the bead on the rim we see a writhing dragon trying to grasp a pearl. On the back of the coin we can find the traditional for Perth Mint coins image of Elizabeth II - Queen of Great Britain, the year of issue, the name of the issuing country, Tuvalu, as well as the denomination of 1 AUD.
