The Australian silver Kookaburra is undoubtedly one of the most popular and highly regarded coins from the Perth Mint. It comes as no surprise, then, that it is the coin that is chosen each year to create the unique version issued to celebrate one of the biggest events in the world of numismatics - the WMF fair in Berlin. The World Money Fair is an international numismatic fair held annually in Berlin, Germany. The fair is one of the most important events for numismatics enthusiasts, coin collectors, banknote collectors, as well as representatives of the coin industry.

The reverse of this silver coin shows us a colored silhouette of an Australian bird sitting on a branch. Beneath it is a privy mark with the iconic Berlin symbol Amplemann, a red man known for traffic lights. This design was created in the 1960s for East Germany, and after reunification became a recognizable symbol of the region. The obverse shows a profile of King Charles III, along with the denomination and year of issue.
