Mother and Baby: Dingo 2022, 2 oz Silver Coin

Another edition of the popular 2 ounce bouillon.

This time the coin depicts a pair of dingo dogs. Continuing the theme of the series is a mother with a puppy. The Australian dingo, is a subspecies of wolf living on the continent. It is likely that dingoes arrived in that area about 5,000 years ago, along with the first settlers. These animals have adapted very well to the conditions in that area and their population is constantly growing. A characteristic feature of the dingo, is that unlike dogs, they cannot bark.

The reverse of the silver wallet depicts a pair of Australian dingoes. On the right is the parent, the mother, and on the left is a small puppy. They are surrounded by an uchy landscape characteristic of the Australian steppe. The dingoes are sitting on a rocky ground, with steppe vegetation growing behind them. The coin's obverse features a classic portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, as well as information on the date of issue, weight, bullion proof and its denomination - 2 AUD.
