The theme of the series is the planet on which we live - Terra (Latin for Earth).

The coin is intended to draw attention to the climate problems of the globe and the destructive impact of man on life on the planet. Pollution of the seas and oceans, global warming, deforestation are just a few of the disasters that man is bringing to Earth. As humans, we should learn to take care of our planet and try to protect it at all costs, as it is the planet that gives us all the elements we need to live.

The obverse and reverse of the presented coin depict two parts of the globe, just like previous editions of the series. The Americas, Africa and Europe are on the reverse side, while Asia and Australia are on the reverse. The latest edition is distinguished by the interesting design that the continents have acquired and the straight lines crossing the sea, forming an irregular grid. The lower part of the reverse features an inscription with the name of the series and the year of issue - Terra 2022. On the right side we see the Latin inscription familiar from earlier issues - Serva me, Servabo te.
