Knights of the Past 2021, 1 oz Silver Coin

This unique coin collection was created through a partnership with the Central Bank of Malta.

The coin opens a new series of silver bullion coins, which will be dedicated to themes related to the history and tradition of the Order of Malta. Characteristic and typical of products from Germania Mint is the impeccable workmanship of the coins and interesting design. The coin's relatively low mintage and the fact that it is the first coin in the new series add to its collector's character. The coin will also be available in two other weight variants and with additional refinement.

The obverse of the presented coin depicts the knights of the Order of Malta lined up in battle array, equipped with heavy armor, swords and spears. In the background, on a hill rises the famous Verdal Palace, whose name is associated with the Grand Master of the Order of Malta. The building is today one of the residences of the Maltese Head of State. At the top edge is an inscription with the name of the series - "Knights of the Past", and on the right is the denomination, amounting to €5. The reverse bears the coat of arms of the Central Bank of Malta, placed on a shield held by a knight.

The coins are packaged in decorative blisters, accompanied by certificates of authenticity.
