We present a new series of silver coins from Germania Mint, inspired by an era when the Earth was inhabited by powerful creatures straight out of legends and prehistory. This collection brings us closer to the fascinating world of prehistory, celebrating untamed nature, primal power, and the monumental forms of animals that have forever left their mark on the history of our planet. The first coin in the series is dedicated to the cave lion (Panthera spelaea) – a predator that stood at the top of the food chain during the Ice Age. Larger and more massive than the modern lion, it was the terror of the icy steppes of Europe and Asia. Its presence symbolized dominance, perseverance, and the ruthless power of survival, which are reflected in the dynamic and detailed design of the coin.

The inaugural issue includes five different variants, designed with attention to detail and aesthetic nuances. This allows collectors to choose the edition that best suits their expectations. The entire series is not only a valuable part of any numismatic collection, but also a unique story about the ancient world — a meeting of minting art with history and a fascination with the ancient power of nature. The Oblivion variant has been finished with the Antique Finish technique with the addition of Black Light Colors, which makes its appearance change depending on the type and angle of light. Under standard, neutral lighting, the coin resembles classic, aged silver, while in other lighting conditions, delicate, multicolored reflections appear, as shown on the manufacturer's materials. In each case, it is the same coin — the variability of the effect is intentional and results directly from the finishing technology used.
