The silver coin refers to the cycling world championships.

The 2025 Road Cycling World Championships will be held from September 21-28 in Kigali and will visit the African continent for the first time ever. Rwanda has prepared an exceptionally demanding course - the elite men will face a distance of 267.5 kilometers and an elevation gain of more than 5,400 meters, and one of the key points of the competition will be the steep and cobbled Wall du Kigali. An additional challenge for the competitors will be the altitude - the capital of Rwanda is located at about 1,850 meters above sea level. The program includes individual time trials, a mixed team relay race and a classic mass start race. The women's elite distance will be 164.6 kilometers and the men's 267.5 kilometers, making it one of the most demanding in the history of the event. Hosting the event in Rwanda is an important step for the development of cycling in the world and a symbolic opening of new prospects for the sport in Africa.

The reverse of the silver coin depicts a dynamic cycling scene - two riders leading a peloton, symbolizing the competition and sporting spirit of the championship. To the right, a crowd of fans standing by the roadside is visible, capturing the atmosphere of enthusiasm and support with which the people of Rwanda welcome the event. The coin's rim features the name of the collection, the year of issue, as well as technical information such as the weight and silver sample, highlighting its collectible nature. The bottom edge of the reverse featured an inscription with the name of the ship, adding to the narrative embedded in the design. The coin's obverse is adorned with the national coat of arms of Rwanda - the country issuing the numismatic coin - which emphasizes its official character and association with the championship host. The coin has a denomination of 10 Rwandan francs and is a full-fledged means of payment, combining a utilitarian function with commemorative and collector value.
