Hussars variant in a limited edition of 500 pieces.

The Hussars were an elite cavalry formation that originated in the Kingdom of Poland in the 16th century and were one of the symbols of Polish military and cultural heritage. The Hussars were known for their courage, fighting skills and distinctive appearance. Its creation was a response to the need to defend the Republic against the growing threat from the Ottoman Empire and the Tatars. Its origins can be traced to Crown Field Hetman Stanislaw Zolkiewski.

The reverse of this silver medal depicts the charge of the hussar cavalry. Shown here is the classic battle formation of this type of mounted units. Compared to the bullion version, a small privy mark has appeared on this one, with the symbol of the STTM (Silver To The Moon) discord community of precious metal enthusiasts. The obverse depicts the eagle of the Republic from the days of hussar splendor. At the bottom is the fictitious denomination of the medal and at the top is the name of the country.
