Maid Marian is the heroine of the second bullion coin of the series.
The theme of the collection from the British Royal Mint is English legends and myths - fictional heroes who appeared in medieval stories and accounts. The first coin in the series featured Robin Hood and the presented second issue of the collection immortalized the figure of his beloved - Lady Marion.
On the reverse of this silver bullion coin we find the figure of Lady Marion, standing among the dense trees and thickets of Sherwood Forest. The highwayman carries a quiver filled with arrows on her back. On the right side, near the edge of the coin, information about the year of issue and the sample of silver used in the production is placed. The obverse of the coin is an image of Queen Elizabeth II and the denomination of 2 British pounds.
