The Chinese phoenix, known as Fenghuang, is one of the most recognizable and revered symbols in Chinese culture. For centuries it has symbolized immortality, virtue and harmony between the yin and yang forces. Fenghuang, often referred to as the "bird of immortality," differs from the Western phoenix, which is reborn from the ashes. The Chinese phoenix is derived from ancient Chinese myths and legends. Its image can be found in ancient Chinese texts and art, where it is depicted as a majestic bird with features of various animals: the head of a pheasant, the beak of a rooster, the neck of a snake, the body of a fish, the paws of a tiger and the tail of a peacock. These various elements symbolize different aspects of nature and life, such as beauty, strength, wisdom and grace.

The reverse of the silver medal shows Chinese phoenixes with their wings spread wide, looking into each other's eyes in the center of the medal design. Next to the mythical creatures is placed a security device, the image of which changes depending on the tilt of the medal from different angles. The obverse of the value is decorated with a seal, which depicts two phoenix heads facing each other. Below it is placed the manufacturer's logo, as well as information on the sample of the bullion, and the weight of the medal.
