On the reverse of this silver coin we see a kookaburra sitting on a piece of branch sticking out of the water. In the background we can see a picturesque sunset. The upper part of the reverse bore the inscription Australian Kookaburra, while the lower part included the date of issue, weight and silver sample. The obverse of the silver coin remained in the classic form, unchanged for the series - it features the right profile of Queen Elizabeth II.
