The Couple silver coin is another investment product developed under the EC8 program .
The coin is produced by Scottsdale Mint with a limited edition of 25,000 copies.
The EC8 coin program was launched in 2018 at the initiative of eight countries located in the Caribbean region. As part of the program, each participating country issues one coin representing the region each year. The U.S. Mint of Scottsdale is responsible for the production side, which is a guarantee that the silver coins will be of high quality. The featured coin, limited to an issue limit of 25,000 pieces, represents the country of St. Lucia.
The reverse of the bullion coin depicts a couple - a man and a woman holding hands. The figures are surrounded by the characteristic landscape of the state of St. Lucia consisting of the sea, mountainous terrain and lush vegetation. The obverse of the coin is decorated with the profile of Queen Elizabeth II, next to which we can read the weight, bullion proof and denomination of the coin. The product is legal tender for all 8 EC8 countries.
