2023 Malta Cross Silver Coin, 1 oz.
The Maltese Cross is a new European bullion coin with an unlimited mintage.
The currency is issued by the Pressburg Mint in cooperation with the Bank of Malta.
It's been a long time since the market for unlimited-circulation silver bullion coins was enriched by a new value, especially if we consider only coins bearing a denomination in European currency. The popular Philharmonic and Britannia have just been joined by a new item, the Malta Cross, a coin created through the cooperation of the increasingly popular Pressburg Mint and the Central Bank of Malta. The fruit of the cooperation is a silver bouillon bearing the €5 denomination.
The reverse of the presented investment coin is dominated by a Maltese cross, placed symmetrically in the center. Slightly above it is placed the year of minting of the coin - in this case 2023 and the country of issue - Malta. On the sides there was the indication of the metal sample, and near the bottom edge the weight of the coin. The reverse featured the Maltese Central Bank's coat of arms and the denomination, which is €5.
