The World's Fair of Money is the largest summer numismatic convention in the United States, annually attracting thousands of collectors, dealers and mint representatives from around the world In 2024, the event was held in Rosemont, a suburb of Chicago, and attracted more than 1,359dealers, 15 mints,andmore than 9,000attendees.

The coin's reverse depicts a friendly koala embracing the trunk of a eucalyptus tree, enhanced by a colorful minted privy mark in the shape of a buffalo - the symbol of North America. The whole coin is packaged in an elegant presentation card with the World's Fair of Money logo and a folding stand for vertical display. The design has found a balance between the Australian fauna and the American spirit of the event, making it an attractive souvenir for visitors and collectors. The obverse of the featured coin is decorated with an image of the Queen King Charles III along with the denomination of 1 Australian dollar. The coin is sold in a thematic blister referring to the numismatic event. The mintage of this edition has been limited to only 2,500 pieces.
